October saw the world premiere of the ‘Suite for Martin Taylor’ with the Royal Liverpool Philarmonic Orchestra, big band and Spirit of Django at the Guitar Festival of Great Britain. Specially composed and arranged by Guy Barker (The Talented Mr Ripley, Quincy Jones) the suite took as its starting point the themes from the ‘Last Train to Hauteville’ album and created a beautiful 45min suite complete with swooning strings and punchy big band. Here are some photos from the event.
Event for Prince William

The event which was also attended by Sir Michael Parkinson, Alan Titchmarsh and Gosford Park writer Julian Fellowes was held to raise awareness for the Child Bereavement Trust, of which Prince William recently became Royal Patron.
