In this inspired pairing, internationally acclaimed guitarist MARTIN TAYLOR meets Scottish-Canadian jazz singer ALISON BURNS for an intimate concert. Taking their inspiration from the Grammy award-winning combination of Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass the evening combines repertoire from The Great American Songbook and contemporary material from Stevie Wonder. As well as Martin Taylor’s solo concerts and recordings, he has also collaborated with musicians from many different musical genre including, Stephane Grappelli, Jeff Beck, Gary Burton, Chet Atkins, Bill Wyman, George Harrison, Dionne Warwick, Diane Schuur and Jamie Cullum. Following in the lineage of Julie London and Peggy Lee, Alison Burns has built a career as an internationally recognized jazz singer performing concerts in Shanghai, New York, London and Toronto.
